BASE Virtual Office

BASE Virtual Office is a South African virtual office service that provides entrepreneurs, startups, small businesses and established companies with access to a FICA-compliant commercial business address without the expense of renting or maintaining physical office space.

Through BASE, businesses can use a commercial address for their CIPC company registration records and other relevant business correspondence, helping entrepreneurs keep their residential addresses private and separate from their business affairs.

BASE also provides a digital mailroom service, receiving mail on behalf of customers and notifying them when correspondence arrives. Customers can request digital scans of their mail at no additional cost, while physical mail forwarding can be arranged at the customer’s expense.

The service is designed to make business administration more accessible, affordable and convenient, particularly for entrepreneurs operating from home, online businesses, freelancers and growing small businesses.

BASE operates with a focus on regulatory compliance, including customer identity verification, beneficial ownership checks, sanctions and politically exposed person screening, and ongoing customer due diligence in accordance with applicable South African compliance requirements.

Beyond its core virtual office service, BASE is developing a partner network that connects entrepreneurs with relevant professional services, business support organisations and other resources that can help them establish and grow their businesses.

At its core, BASE helps South African entrepreneurs establish a more professional business presence, protect their residential privacy and access essential business infrastructure without unnecessary overheads.
