Invoice and asset finance

Invoice finance lets you borrow against invoices your customers have not paid yet, so you are not waiting 30, 60 or 90 days for cash. It suits businesses that supply larger companies or government on account.

Asset finance spreads the cost of equipment, vehicles or machinery over time, with the asset itself as security. Both are usually easier to get than an unsecured loan, because the lender has something to fall back on.

Common questions

What is invoice discounting?

A lender advances you most of the value of an unpaid invoice now, and you repay it (plus a fee) when your customer pays.

Is asset finance the same as a loan?

It is a loan secured against the asset you are buying — a vehicle, machine or equipment — which usually makes it easier to qualify for.
