Funding for young entrepreneurs

Several funders reserve money for youth-owned businesses — usually owners aged 18 to 35. The National Youth Development Agency (NYDA) is the main one, offering grants alongside business training.

Young founders often have little trading history or security, so grants, mentorship programmes and development funders are usually a better first stop than a bank.
